What is Morocco’s standard corporate income tax rate in 2026?
The standard corporate income tax rate is 20% 1. It rises to 35% for companies whose net profit is 100 million dirhams or more, with some exclusions — among them companies with Casablanca Finance City status and those in industrial acceleration zones 1.
↳ Asked in English, answered from the French text
« …le taux de l’impôt sur les sociétés est fixé à : A.- 20% ; B.- 35%, en ce qui concerne les sociétés dont le montant du bénéfice net est égal ou supérieur à cent millions (100 000 000) dirhams… »
How it works
Three steps, and none where you have to take anything on trust.
- 01
Ask your question
In French, Arabic or English. Pick a topic — Tax, Legal, Accounting… — and write as you would to a colleague.
- 02
Read a cited answer
Every claim carries a number that leads to the exact passage. Houjja also searches texts written in a language other than your question’s.
- 03
Check the source
One click opens the original document at the cited page. When the texts do not answer the question, the answer says so.

You upload nothing
The library belongs to Houjja. Your own documents stay with you.
Your conversations are private
Each member sees only their own, in a firm workspace too. The admin console shows volumes and dates only — never a question or an answer.
What leaves Morocco
To write the answer, your question and the passages chosen are processed by AI model providers, some of them outside Morocco. The library and your account are hosted in Morocco.
Your API key stays encrypted
If you use your own key (Gemini, OpenAI…), it is stored encrypted and never sent back to the browser.
Deleting means deleting
Your account is locked as soon as you ask and erased after 30 days; signing in before then cancels it. Backups expire 30 days later.

Questions
Does Houjja replace legal or tax advice?
No. Houjja helps you find and read the texts; it does not replace a professional’s opinion. That is why every answer shows its sources: check them before you commit to anything.
Where do the texts come from?
From a library built and dated by the Houjja team: the General Tax Code (editions 2011 to 2026), laws and decrees, IFRS standards, administrative procedures, banking texts. The app lists all of it, topic by topic.
Can I ask in Arabic and get French sources?
Yes. Houjja searches the texts in all three languages and answers in the language of your question.
What if the texts don’t contain the answer?
By default Houjja answers from the texts only: if nothing answers the question, it says so. You can let it add general knowledge, always kept apart from the cited passages.
How does the free plan work?
You add your own API key (Google Gemini, OpenAI or a compatible service) in Settings → Servers. Houjja does the search; your provider writes the answer and bills you directly.
How does a firm workspace work?
The owner invites colleagues by email and gives each a role. The plan, the allowance and the keys are shared; everyone keeps their conversations to themselves.
How do I delete my account?
From Settings → Account. The account is locked at once and deleted for good after 30 days; signing in before then cancels the deletion.
